YAY! After all the hard work these 4 months, all the blood and anger (no tears, surprisingly), it's finally over. Every production ends well with a cast party. =) This will be the last, no party would have been as fun as this after all I've attended in 4 years. Firstly, armstrong got 3 useless idiots to carry loads of things for the party from SSC to her house. Rushed through the portfolio work and it had to rain. So we shifted from poolside to clubhouse. We definitely disturbed the residence with all the noise, and one even lodged a complaint. LOL! Finally, made Jeremiah tear (okay, not cry). It was a damn meaningful gift, the portfolio I had took 2 days and nights to complete it. It had pictures, memories, SYF stuff, notes and messages from Cast, Director Quotes and more, since our performance never made him cry once, THIS SHALL BE IT :). Secondly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR DEAR FREDDY! Hope he had a most memorable 27th birthday with all the cast and crew celebrating for him, plus we made him strip! lol! OHHKAY... Poor birthday boy, but he had his fun too. Maisy, Bini, and I had took up the lamest and dumbest jobs of the day, being "car-park attendants", "___ stealers" (only we will know) , "Freddy Alert/ Personal Assistants" and some more stupid things. Realised only today that Bino (aka BEENO) could be quite fun too. At least he's vocal towards his NAGA crew. Learnt so much and grew over the years with the productions involved. From School Musical (2002) to SYF (2003), then DramaNite (2004) and SYF (2005). Never thought I'd be so happy and become who I am now. It was him who taught me things I'd never known. Jeremiah has truly opened me up to what he calls the "magic of theatre" and there's more to it than meets the eye. It's not just about acting, it's more about passion, concentration, being focused, being real, forgetting about your true identity, emotions and connection with fellow actors. Stage is god. 20 mins up there, 4 months behind the scenes to prepare. Performing isn't easy, when you bring in emotions and small details. Every move has gotta be real. But, it doesn't cut it, I shan't explain cause no one would ever understand, unless you do it. I'll miss the days rehearsing, getting scoldings, disappointments, those horrible days on how we started off badly, being so tired, discouraged and at our lowest points, sucess and ofcourse, the ever greatest ODP team (jere, james, fred, bino)! ;)
