It's been close to a year since the last N4 outing, and I'm glad it happened today! =) Before that I was so lucky I even had to DRINK! that milky mashedpotato cause I lost.. :( Our Sungei Buloh plan was cancelled and we went to Sentosa instead. Bought a roll of film and started taking pictures. People were staring at us, but we were having a picture taking competition, with the best shots of art/nature. The freaks in the MRT turned their backs on us. Ok, somewhat made our way there. WOW! I must say sentosa has changed alot! For the better! Looks like a street in US now. Especially when we stopped by the billabong shop! HEH! OKAY, here's the greatest part. We went to rent bikes to cycle. Due to the fact that I couldn't cycle, we planned to rent a two seater bike, me and siewhuai! But sadly, it was too high for the both of us and difficult to control. So we had no choice but to take single seater bikes. They were planning to teach me, and so we tried out the bikes at the shop, and siewhuai helped me. I MASTERED IT WITHIN 3 mins! :) AND WE COULD FINALLY SET OFF! YAY!!! hahaha! I'm so happy, I've been wanting to learn how to cycle for years, yet to no avail, and today I've accomplished it! Started off alittle unsteady, encountered sudden breaks after breaks, slowly got the hang of it, cycled all the long way almost covering 16 km straight. Thanksss alot to my dearr sunzi! :) I'm happy! Stopped at different checkpoints, leaving our initials and information behind, buried it somewhere under ONE particular tree, gonna go back in a few months time, dig it out and write more. Keep taking pictures for the contest and for ourselves. In short time, we arrived at 7 checkpoints and kept annoying passerbys to snap photos. Did the craziest things ever, never played so hard for a long time! Happy! Made American friends, he was an adult, an obnoxious one =) hehe! Only sunzi managed to say a HI! to him, maio was insisting on tailing him but never met him again til` the end of our trip. Visited the monkey and took a picture with it, it climbed onto them and gave a HI5, by the way it was so fierce but smart and friendly. haha. Ok, time to return the bikes, VERY SAD RIGHT? Yea! Nothing left to do, felt something amiss cause we didn't have to park and look after the bikes anymore. Walked on the beach, crossed the bridge to eat chocolates. Then...heh! Set off for the DRAGON TRAIL. It was a sorta trekking activity. We just kept walking and walking aimlessly in the jungle, coming across skulls, dragon remains, waterfalls (what a contradiction, with NO WATER AT ALL!), frozen mud, misleading signboards and stuff. Finally! Got ourselves LOST :D. haha. okay, not funny. Anyhow walked and figured the way out, only to realised we made one whole big detour in the forest. Again, not so lucky, we kept walking downhill, but no buses stopped nor was there any terminal. Passed Merlion, NO. Passed Sijouri Golf Course, NO. Passed Dinosaur, NO. Passed Butterfly park, NO. Passed haunted building, NO. Finally saw a bus-stop-lookalike area, so happy know, then turned out to be a bloody RAIN SHELTER. OH, damn. Then plus and minus lots of encounters, finally found the right place, hopped onto the bus, went hooommeee! YAY!! Today was soo fun, cause we were N4 and I learned how to cycle. I think i'm fatally obsessed with it ;) I love my N4, fish, maio, sunzi!! Hoping to see the developed pictures real soon.
