A COUNTDOWN TO 2006!

HARDY CAKE's birthday. what did we do with the cursed brat? Brought him out on a surprise party with Sean's ingenius help to watch his own movie KINGKONG. that stinking JACKBLACK complain and complain in the cinema munching away on his DORITOS. then we spent the day searching for toys and candles, and playing HIDE AND SEEK with this cake in the supermarket. From L1 to B1 and from B1 back to L1. :@ make us 4 look like retards. after we alighted from the cab at farrerforest, we stood in the light rain, waiting for that troublesome cake to convince himself to go home. 15mins begging on the streets then FINALLY, we won the arguement, andrew and i LEFT HIM ALONE and went home together. HAHAHAHAHA!

YAY!! Its the last day of the year :D HAPPY TO PARTTY but SAD TO LEAVE. Watched WALLACE AND GROMIT in the afternoon, feel asleep halfway in the cinema, when I woke up, I saw Wallace turn into a Giant Were-Rabbit. Dumb show. When we came out of the theatres, it was RAINING. How nice. Aborted our last minute Sentosa plan and sat at Dhoby Ghaut station instead. WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED for hours until we saw the NCC boys there too. Minutes later we left and headed to buy some stuff and commited a grevious sin on the 31st dec, jusstttt before new year:D HAHAA. Rushed for the train to ESPLANADE. Surprisingly it wasn't crowded. We just sat on a spot right in front of the firworks area by 9pm. waited 3 hours. talked and played and cursed for hours. Watching concerts and listening to crazy and gone-too-high idiots scream. each minute was just as dreadful. HAHA. Passed so slowly until the time finally came. Stood up and moved right to the front for the best view. FASCINATING! Havent' seen such fireworks in years. It was as beautiful, or even better than the last time I saw it. It lasted for 15mins and I think it was our happiest night ever together. Couldn't help but SMILE all get excited all the time when they were fired into the sky. Actually our first time getting into such an event. When the mob cleared, the entire streets was full of partyyinggg! And we got sprayed by bottles of foam many times. Kept our cool and played along with them/moved along with the crowd since we were in the right atmosphere and moood for playing. Never felt so happy before since some days in 2005. It doesn't always happen. Why not PLAY? :D Were talking away about our days back in 05, probably the best and MOST memorable year in our entire life. Went through all the hardtimes, goodtimes, really BADBADBADTimes, GREATtimes, had a taste of failure and success, been through many obstacles with friends and got stronger with them and learned to moveee on etcetc and all that stuff. It's been a great experience and we all know it. 2005 will always be 2005, the best year ever, even if now its already 06.

So, we got LOST and apparently couldn't find our way out. Then we waited for hours after hours at the crammed busstop. At 3.30 Am, we find ourselves till travveling on NR service to PasirRis. Then we took a cab to Changi Airport and spent the night there. Couldn't go home and there was no where else to go. Arrived there at 4am plus in the morning of 1st Jan 2006. WOW:D:D:D!!! IT WAS SO NICE!!! No one else really there. There was only US roaming about in the entire area, riding on trolleys, running, taking pictures and going all around the place from t1 to t2 from t1 to t2. haha! Stopped at Mcdonalds for our dinner, cos we the last time we ate was probably 14 hours ago, a pathetic hotdog from the cinema. until 0600 when the skytrain FINALLY starting operating, we played on it too. When it was 0702, we found oursleves sleeping on benches at the viewming mall, watching the planes take off. Saw alot of people roaming around and sleeping about the floor also! haha! so we weren't exactly the only strange ones. the stupid benches were so hard to sleep we kept switching around until it was so frustrating we went to eat breakfast. :D then bought a mickey mouse puzzle and played for hours at T2 till we were so bored as we couldn't complete it, packed up and hopped on the first few trains. Was obsessed with taking pictures of EVERYTHING, ANYTHING and ANYONE, ANYWHERE. haha. Till then, it was SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPP all the way.

Between 31st dec05 and 1st dec 06, we experienced real hunger, thirst, isolation, independance, exhaution, lack of sleep, FUNFUN AND MORE FUN. It was a thrilling night with a lifetime of memories that will last me forever :) THANKYOU to my bestbuddies for the wonderful time and those in 05. I LOVED THOSE DAYS.
